State of the Chain

The desk's periodic read on where Robinhood Chain actually stands, not a calendar feature: it runs when the numbers have moved enough to earn one. Every figure below is live and sourced, the same feeds behind the Chain Desk's hub and the data desk.

Turnover, not just size

Today's DEX volume is 215% of everything locked on the chain — meaning the venue turns over a figure close to its entire deposited capital in a single day. That is a market moving fast relative to its own depth, which cuts both ways: it is real, contestable liquidity, and it is also thinner than the TVL headline alone suggests. Neither number is a price call. Both are on the record daily at the data desk, so this ratio can be checked again tomorrow against whatever it becomes.

Where the tokens go

402,936 tokens have been given a market on this chain since it opened. Of those past their first week, about 1 in 83 is still trading (1.2%). The rest did not fail loudly; they simply stopped seeing a trade. The chain is minting roughly 5,705 new tokens a day, and the weighted survival rate across every closed cohort sits at 3.2%. The full cohort-by-cohort breakdown, including which week each survivor was born in, is at the nursery.
